The Children's Ministry of Victory Praise Community Church

"Suffer the little children to come onto me", must be one of the most frequently quoted verses of all times when it comes to children's ministry.

What strikes me most from this story of Jesus taking the children onto his knee to bless them is not the compassion that Jesus had for these children, amazing as that is, but the fact that the disciples, those who worked closely with Jesus, wanted to turn these children away.

Sometimes in church children can be regarded as an inconvenience, a distraction from more important ministries - the same viewpoint as the disciples held.

This is not the case at Victory Praise. We look at our children with a heart of compassion, with a knowledge of who they are in Jesus Christ.

The KFC team is led by Angela McDowell and enjoy practical and relevant teaching from God’s word, as well as games, singing and an occasional visit from the Puppet Ministry Team! Not to be missed.

The KFC team are to be commended for the work, support and energy that they dedicate to this children’s ministry.

KIDS FOR CHRIST

Kids for Christ meet every Sunday Morning during the morning Service.

We extend a warm invitation to all boys and girls to join us on a Sunday morning, at Kids for Christ, where you will learn Bible lessons that will help you live your life as God’s blessed kids!!

KRAFTS FOR CHILDREN

Each Sunday night boys and girls of primary school age are invited to come along to Krafts For Children where they join in a lesson from God’s word before turning their hand to some relevant craftwork.

Sunday nights at Krafts for Children can find us elbow deep in paint, glue or glitter as we create “masterpieces” related to the Bible lesson we have learned.
